Nabela’s Bengali Banana Fritters


This cozy, nostalgic treat is sure to brighten your day!

Instructions:

  1. Mash your ripe bananas until thoroughly mixed. Avoid large chunks!

  2. Mix in all purpose flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs.

  3. If needed, add in a little milk for a thicker, pancake batter like consistency.

  4. Prep oil in a pan for frying.

  5. Slowly add dough to the pan. You want thinner fritters, not dough balls!

  6. Deep fry each side until brown.

  7. On a paper towel, gently pat the excess oil from each fritter.

  8. Garnish with powdered sugar and serve!
